(Air-layered)
This baby is the result of my first successful air-layering propagation. The original tree was about 6 feet tall. About a foot from the top I cut the bark appropriately, added the damp moss and covered it with plastic.
Several months later, roots formed and I cut the new tree off and planted it in the pot. It has made it through one winter and these are its first new buds as a new tree.
